Permanent selfportrait transformation

There exist three subjects in Piriankov's creation. They seem to live separately, without any connections, different in matter and form, like made by three different artists.

Based on analysis of his creation and his aspiration, he made the conclusion, that these three areas create common wholeness.
All Piriankov's painting realizations are the results of his considerations, personal experiences, and exploration of a human being in the universal and symbolic extent. A hero of his paintings is not entangled in any particular historic date, concrete social, politic, or cultural situation. Piriankov is fascinated by a pure human personality, undressed of all regularly put masks. He finds fascinating universal symbols while filtrating himself, filtrating met people, analyzing history of culture and philosophy. At the same time he is not utterly attached to the theory, he allows the everyday inspirations and experiences to have a vote. Different aspects of human nature appear depending on different emotional, intellectual or spiritual state and desires.
His many years' observations create the plain picture of symbols.

„Icons”
The group of paintings grounded around sacrum subject, expresses the saint part of human nature, and need for inner development and reflection. The artist found the symbol of this part of nature at the synthetic, minimal form of orthodox icon, where it is static, immaterial, lasting beyond a line of time.
The form of a portrait – self-portrait is developed from icons, where the face is static, monumental, caked in the universal time. Faces, appearing one after another, almost duplicated the previous form, become witnesses of the moments, where the artist's experiences “beyond” area. These visages are the tools for catching and keeping the contact of timeless contemplation.

„Sexual”
The native icons' symbolism also here shows the artist the way of expressing the second of main human needs – love and eroticism. Another words, this is a matter of bilateral relation with a representative of an opposite gender. It consists on edifying and enriching energy exchange, in the physical and mental area. The artist sees the confirmation of the fact, that opposite genders can cultivate themselves, can give and receive something beneficial while being together in contact. That is why each individual has its sex appeal which accompanies him continually during everyday life.
The balance between the need of mental and physical contact changes, and in paintings it occurs through couples set in static poses, or through concrete, dynamic eroticism.

„Deviant”
Expressive forms of colours and lines change paintings to dynamic realizations conveying wildness, madness and rampant energy lurking in the depth of human nature. It blows up unexpectedly, more often or rarely. Desire of movement, energy and rush forward is connected with adrenaline, which is also responsible of the need of fight and aggression. Reaching basic instincts, Piriankov sees the visualization of this sphere in animal eroticism, in wild and unbridled orgy, where the hero becomes a beast.

The Saint naturally passes into the Beast, to take a part of the Lover after a while. These are trims that human nature gives us for consumption, and dressed with them we function creating society, culture and history.
